Gentle Transitions

There should be gentle transitions from the rural areas to more dense areas. This would be consistent with the current Knobtown Plan. There should not be an abrupt change from open space to a wall of buildings. 350 corridor and 40 highway are best suited for more dense areas. Rural area residence need a gentle buffer of tree surrounded single story uses such as elderly care or residents stepping up to two story commercial with residents on top gradually moving to more dense appartment complexes, etc.
